If you watched the simple tug video which demonstrates getting the POS device easily and quickly to a lap with one hand usage, the POS device has a pre-made EIF Dismount plate for a and any device. It is secured by a security tether and for everyday use with the EIF Dismount Connector.


The Taylor ADA Stand/Mount is secured to a counter-top for example, the EIF Dismount Plate sets the payment device into a "Fixed" Position. The EIF Dismount Plate has not only its IT cable(s) attached securely, but also the security tether.


The Cable and Tether allocate enough length to accomodate our EIF Dismount Design Feature to reach a persons lap comfortably and safely and back onto the ADA Stand/Mount upon completion of a transaction meeting the PC-PTS POI Dismount Policy and for ADA Federal Compliance.


Equal & Independent Access

Allows for an individual to independently access the Credit/Debit Card Reader.

ADA Stands allow for easy access to the Card Reader allowing for Total PIN Privacy.


A person should be able to inspect a POS device and PINpad especially in unattended for (Skimmers). The odds of a person using a wheelchair or of short stature is not likely able to do so with a Fixed POS Environment therefore furthering a person's Card Security. Taylor POS Dismount Tech enhances a patrons card use security at both Attended and Unattended. As for peering eyes rule, whenever you enter a debit card PIN, assume there is someone looking. Maybe it's over your shoulder or through a hidden camera. Even if the ATM or payment machine seems otherwise fine, cover your hand as you enter your PIN. Obtaining the PIN is essential. Without it, criminals are limited in what they can do with stolen data.
